Z28 convertible clone with Forgestar F14’s
Don’t flame me too bad but I really wanted a convertible Z28 so I put it together and I got some Forgestar 14’s super deep concave all around with 19x11 and 19x12. It looks really great imo.

I'll be honest and blunt, it looks ok, but its a convertible, and its a clone...I hope it at least has the LS7 under the hood.

It looks great, but I would take the z28 badges off.

I'll be honest, this with an ls7 and the z28 wheels would probably be the only convertible I'd be interested in. The z28 badges don't offend me as a z owner. I say go full conversion... minus the DSSVs

FWIW, A Z/28 vert has already been done. LS7, suspension, CCBs and everything else.
OP, your car looks great!

Man, that looks great! Well done....but it's still not a Z/28. Car enthusiast will know it's not a real Z.
Before I bought this 2015 Z, I was looking into getting a older classic 1st gen Z/28 and you be surprised how many fake 1st gen Z's are out there. So I gave up and went to look for 3rd gen IROC-Z (like the one I use to have in 1989), way over priced so gave up on that one too. So here I am with a 2015 Z and couldn't be happier. Now I have to sit here and wait 20 years for it to be a classic. |
