If that were a meteorite, the car would be totally destroyed. A meteorite half that size would have ripped right through the car and cratered the driveway.

Look up the peekskill meteorite!

Wow... Just like the 1000 other posts, I'm astonished at how and why people do stuff like this. It's a pathetic state of affairs that I just can't comprehend. Even if they're caught (which is unlikely), the courts won't do much to them.
A couple of years ago, I had an awesome sportbike stolen. I did alot of my own detective work and had some pretty good leads. Being "a good guy," I passed my leads on to the police so they could take care of it. To my surprise and dismay, the cops didn't even look at my case for four weeks -- by that time the trail had gone cold. Forget about help from the police.

People that do stuff like this should have their fingernails ripped out, their manhood removed, and then be shot.

Our society is becoming one where private property means less and less.
