Welcome. Actually, when the Camaro and Challenger concept cars came out in 2006 I really liked the Challenger better. I still like the new RT Classic a lot. I looked at a Challenger before I ordered my Camaro. It was the only other car I was considering. The Camaro ended up being a better fit for me but you can't go wrong with either IMO.

I'm on three different challenger forums but not LX. might have to check them out as well

A retired member of the Air Force, a firefighter and a Challenger owner. You chose wisely on all three accounts. I am a Camaro owner, but the Challenger turns my head every time I see one. Best retro ever.

Oh, and thanks for your service...

as a previous owner of a R/T challenger (totaled) I definately understand you love for both of these cars, THEY ARE AWESOME!

I really liked the challenger for the 5 short months that I did have it, lol, I think in a about a year I will trade in my v6 camaro for a srt8 challenger....I miss the aggressive v8 engine :tear:

Anyway I find it refreshing to know that car lovers are car lovers.
While the Camaro did not make the final cut as I shopped for my Air Force retirement gift to myself last year, it was in the running. The Challengers clear retro-styling won me over.
The Camaro is a tough looking car though. It's got aggressive exterior styling and I still find myself doing a double take when I see one.
Anyway thought you might like to know a Challenger owner digs your ride as well.
My hubby and I dig your ride too! We love the Challenger (SRT8) and even thought about buying one in addition to the Camaro. We can't seem to justify paying over 40k for it.

Nice Ride!

I considered a Challenger also but given my history with Camaro I ended up ordering the Chevy.

I always risk running into the person in front of me whenever a Challenger passes by.

And as others have stated... A heartfelt Thank You for your service.

Me too!
No knock on the Mustang, because I like them too, but there are so many on the road that I don't think twice when I see one. But Camaros and Challengers always catch my attention.

I too would love to own both, hell I would like to own the Mustang too. I checked out the Challenger but the dealer was an a-hole and I think Dodge made a huge mistake with the interior of the Challenger. The interior looks almost identical to my Dodge Charger.

I am a GM guy at heart and I told everyone I know that I was going to order a new Camaro if they made the concept car into a production car. I will have to say that everytime I see a Challenger I think "wow, what a great looking car!"

Welcome to the forum.

Russ

People say the Camaro orange looks red, and here we are saying the Challenger red looks orange. Kinda ironic.

If the Challenger and Camaro were the same price I think I would go for the Challenger.
Has such a sweet retro look. I think both these cars are over priced so the Challenger is out for me. Too bad 'cause they look sweet.
