Cool

OK. I bought the V8 cherry bomb cat backsystem for $399.00 Arrived in 2 days. That the link in one of my previous post is to. It fits perfect. All 2010 camaros exhaust systems are all most the same. But, the V8 has 2.5" pipes from the cat back. The V6 system has 2.5" pipes back to the resonators, then it goes down to 2.25" pipes. The V6 has a h-pipe. The V8 has a x pipe. The resonators are diff on both the v8 and V6. If you look at the bends in the pipe on both the v6 and v8 cat back system on the web site. They are bent just enough that it will fit the V6. The cherry bomb cat back fits the V6 perfect. Does any of this help?

Yep, now I think I know what exhaust will be on my car when my shorty headers/ midpipes sell.

Changing the exhaust will not void your warranty at all. In order for something to void your warranty, it has to be something that either goes IN your engine, requires it to be opened up, tuned, machined, or whatever physical means necessary. And on top of that, the dealership has to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the part in question is what actually caused the problem in the first place. Doing a cat back exhaust will not void your engines warranty. It may void whatever exhaust warranty the car may have, but its honestly not a big deal at all. Dont worry about it.

Got my Extreme's put on today. Cost was $139.10, $50.00 for welding them in, $40 a piece for stainless rolled tips, & tax. Sound good, low bass tone, gets a little raspy when wot but not for long.

Very, very nice indeed. That has the nastiest barritone note I have heard from an LLT V6. I wonder if there were also long tube headers added to the mix. I would love more video of it driving. Also, how is it on the highway? Any drone? eB

Used 75 Camaro = $3500
Rolling restoration over 10 years = $5000
$5 of gas burned in 10 seconds = Priceless!

There is a little drone, has a nice little idle to it. Sounds smooth at highway speeds. Shop told me that if removed the factory resonators it would sound like a 'Honda'.

Aluminized steel = MUCH cheaper than stainless, but less resistant to corrosion/discoloration.

But it should last for quite some time unless you live in a really, really wet area or a place that uses lots of salt.
