how much lower........

How much lower is the ride height of the ZL1 compaired to the SS or 1LE???

Early on when the 12s were being tested, I remember Openheiser (sp?) saying 3/4 of an inch lower. With rockers and front facia and back defuser, they look lower then that to me.

3/4 inch is quite a bit!

I believe I read a document from GM that says they are similar in ground clearance to a Z06. The front is about 0.4 inches lower than a ss just from the smaller tires alone the rear is around 0.12 inches lower from the smaller diameter tires. That also has to be combined with the lower suspension and how much lower the factory body kit is.

Well I can tell you for a fact that with a full tank of gas the ZL1 rear spring drop the back of my 1LE a 1/2 inch . The ZL1 rear springs even out the air gap front to back on the car.I like the way my 1LE sits now before the back was a bit high in the air for my liking.
