Car tuned with with HP Tuners, can I still use SCT X4?

I was wondering If anyone here might know the answer. I've got a 2014 Camaro SS that has been tuned by a local tuner using HP Tuners. I'd like to use my SCT X4 to change my Axle Ratio (I think I can do that).

Can the SCT X4 store the HP Tuners tune?
Can I change my Axle Ratio using the SCT X4 and not overwrite my current tune.
I don't want to lose my current tune.

No, the tuner won't allow you you to do anything with the HP tune in.
They check for the factory tune before marrying to the car. Once you
tune the car, then it allows for the parameter changes, like gear ratio.

Since you have an HP tune, the tuner won't even backup, and marry to
the car.

You could take it to a dealer, and see if they will flash the ECU, or "update" it
for you. Then it will have a stock program.

Why don't you go to the original tuner and have them do it for you? It would take 10 minutes.

Kind regards,

If the SCT device is not married it will upload your current tune as stock, you can then make a gear ratio change only reloading your current tune with only that change.

There should be an options to change the gear ratio only.

But quite honestly I never uses those features so I can't say for 100% certainty.

Ted.
