Lurked here for awhile...observations
Well first off I'm not a Camaro owner.
2009 Challenger owner...gasp...lol Anyway I find it refreshing to know that car lovers are car lovers. While the Camaro did not make the final cut as I shopped for my Air Force retirement gift to myself last year, it was in the running. The Challengers clear retro-styling won me over. The Camaro is a tough looking car though. It's got aggressive exterior styling and I still find myself doing a double take when I see one. Anyway thought you might like to know a Challenger owner digs your ride as well. |

IDMTfirefighter- I don't blame you for buying a Challenger. I'm a Dodge guy at heart (hence the user name), but when I compared the Challenger SRT-8 to the Camaro SS that I bought, it was about a $12,000 difference and I couldn't make myself do it. Then I happened to fall in love with the Camaro. I don't mind having a Chevy parked next to my Dodge in my garage. They get along just fine.

I retired USAF in 04, grats on your gift to yourself! Mine was a Jeep wrangler since they didn't make Camaros then /weep. I loved the Challengers as well, I have owned mostly Chrysler's, Dodges and Pontiac's in my life, this is my first Chevy!
I love the Chally look as well. Grats again and thanks for serving!

The challenger is a great looking car. Congrats on your retirement gift. But, even though I work for chrysler, I liked the camaro more. It's a personal choice though.

Welcome and happy retirement!
Plum Crazy is hot and who knows, it might find its way into our garage someday.

I also love the Challenger, my best friend in highschool had a brand new 1970 Challenger with a 383 and a slap stick shifter. During that time, I wanted a 1969 Camaro but could not afford one. 40+ years latter I finally have the car that I've always wanted.

Hate to admit it, but
Were the Challenger and Camaro priced the same, and were I not a GM butt boy, I mite be looking at buying my first Dodge rather than a 2011 Camaro
