Saint Patrick's Day

I just hung my replica 1863 Irish Brigade flag. The wind displayed it in fine fashion. Anyone else commemorate the day?

Saint Patrick was not Irish, he was English.

So why fly an Irish flag?

That was one of Jenifer Aniston's first roles, wasn't it?

Never seen the movie, I just (think) I heard that as a factoid.

This is very hard to get into without getting into religion or politics but ...

St Patrick's Day is considered an Irish holiday regardless of the birthplace of the man that it is named for.

If you are legitimately unaware, I advise you consult Google. Or at least Wikipedia. If not ... don't be a sh*t disturber.

I have very strong opinions on that subject, which I don't feel are appropriate for the public forum ... even if they are in line with the law.

Because he is the patron Saint of Ireland.
