that hurts man i own a 2lt rs...ive grown up around cars and have read every issue of popular hottroading car craft that i can get my hand on i got kicked out of history class because i was reading an article on a 383 stroker and was hiding it in my text book so because i have a v6 im not a car enthusiat thats a very biasis statement to make i enjoy going to car shows with my dad its a father son thing just because i own a v6 doesnt mean i dont take pride in it and im not a car enthusiats...

Even if the V8 were the same speed as a V6 but $5000 more expensive, people would STILL buy it and think it made them better because "you gotta have a V8."

My Z06 (used) with HUD/leather, etc cost as much as your stripper 1SS and will run circles around it. Why didn't you get a real performance car instead if you are so obsessed with being the faster guy out there? /sarcasm

See how your logic fails? People get the V6 for different reasons why others get a V8. Life is about compromises and people have different priorities. The V6 has its advantages hence why I still keep my old 3.8L around.

Here we have some V6 Pride after a nice wash today in the Mississippi heat and humidity My wife steadily asking me to wash the yukon too Took a pass on that...lol Although I love my yukon, I think it will be traded towards the 2SS RS

We love our V6....I am pretty sure I like the Camaro more than my wife likes it, but she has been driving it most everyday. I get to drive it on the weekends and wash it

As a matter of fact.....even after I get my 2SS RS V8, I will still only hang on the V6 forum. When ya think about the technology that went into the V6 it is flat out amazing. Then you have the different suspension and weight, can't say it enough.....just the ultimate daily driver for a high performance sports car Don't get me wrong, I will love my V8 if it ever gets here but our 2LT V6 will always be the one to give me warm and fuzzies

DUDE -- Tip from an experienced husband here: NEVER say you like your car more than you like your wife!

Not even when you get the SS.

That being said however, I had an '84 Firebird with a carbed 2.8 that I babied and was good to me while I owned it for the 3 years I did. No problems personally.

As ubiquitous as they were I suppose it was a decent block. (edit)
The later model 60 degree V6's from GM were pretty good. haven't heard of many of them just failing if not taken care of. And pack a good punch in the FWD applications. slap a turbo on one and you can walk Grand Nationals.

I'm usually too busy drooling and using the two cameras in the front of my head.

Though on a serious note, I don't own a camera better than my cell phone camera...
