These are the pedals. There is an extended gas pedal that makes it easy to catch the brake and gas at the same time. They work great for me. I'll have to find a picture.

I've been heel toeing my 97SS in road racing for the last 10 years or so. It has the same problem as mentioned above, even with just size 11s theres not enough room in the footwell of these cars to rotate the heel without catching the carpet. I eventually went to the method described above where I place my foot right between the gas and brake resting equally on both. Since at rest the brake pedal is higher than the throttle, applying the brake in usual racing situations brings the throttle and brake about even. Then when you need to blip the throttle I just rotate my ankle right to hit the gas (roll it over like when you sprain your ankle). Swinging your knee a little to the right at the same time helps with the angle you need. Takes some practice but works well, and is the only way I can do it in my 4th gen and in my ZL1 as the footwells are so narrow top to bottom. Of course I have racing pedals in the 4th gen (its a full on race car) so its not as easy in the ZL1 with the stock pedals but still doable. Still, I am eyeing those SRP pedals...

Heel toe with size 14's runs from clutch to gas pedal and doesnt work for me.... good thing my feet are wide enough to hit brake and gas at the same time..... tried it today, and i now see me going through tires 3 times as fast

i prefer to drive in just one or two pair of shoes that i own just for this reason, i struggle with heel toeing a little bit otherwise.

Large or thick sole shoes will also make the process more difficult. You can try rolling your foot over and using the side of your heel, or rotating your foot around and use the bottom of your heel. Once you find a way to make it work, then practice, practice, practice.....

I do it similar in this car; Place the ball of your foot higher on the brake pedal and lightly tap it while simultaneously blipping the gas with your heel (this brings both pedals nearly even) and then progressively applying as much brake pressure as needed for the situation!

I realize that this thread is old, but I'm trying to figure out if the SRP racing pedals on their website marked as for "2010+" (no distinction on model) will work for the ZL1. My guess is yes, but what gives me pause is the fact the there used to be what appeared to a ZL1-specific product.

Anybody know?

I'm glad you revived this thread. I was considering the Lingenfelter pedals, so any input from the experts is much appreciated.

I can confirm that the SRP pedals will work on a ZL1. I have them installed on my 2013 zl1. The brake and clutch are straight forward but you will want a good drill bit. The gas pedal is a bit tricky because of the raised "ribs" on the stock gas pedal. I was not able to heel/toe with the stock pedals. Now I am able to.

I also received a response from SRP just before you posted this. They also said that the same kit fits the ZL1 fine. So double confirmation .

Also, thanks for the install tips... I'll definitely note them. One additional question - I haven't looked closely at the pedals, but do the stock pedals have cover that pops off like the non ZL1 pedals, or do these just bolt right on top of them? Guessing yes based on your comment about the ribs. Any other comments on your satisfaction with the SRP pedals?
