I love the comments on the ft86 forums about the engine sound. Makes me want to drive up to them, rev my V8 a little and deflate their happiness.

j/k. Don't want some douche bag in a lambo doing the same to me!

Can't wait to see these on the roads. It's time to get rid of those tuned civics and econoboxes with rear spoilers and have some real sports cars on the road. The market is long overdue for cheap sports cars.

I actually like this car. If it is priced right, it could do very well.

With 200 hp and that lightweight, it's going to be a monster.

Momma didn't bronze my shoes, but when I turned 16 I inherited a lead foot.

Not terrible, not fantastic, not for me. I am sure the tuner boys will get a husk from looking at it though.

Is nobody else seeing Hyundai Genesis when they look at this car? It looks like a complete knockoff.

Man! They robbed so many styling ques from other manufacturers that I don't think it should even carry a Toyota badge. You guys can have. Toyota sucks anyhow.

I completly see Hyundai Genesis, Mazda 3, and a little bit of Nissan 350Z in there.

Say what you want, but the closest grudge match I've had was against a new WRX. 12.08 HP per lb. The new GT-86 will be 13.51 hp lb. It weighs about the same as a typical MX-5 and puts out 60 more horse with a torquier motor.
