Black 21" wheels

I just talked to my dealer, and I guess that the 21" wheels are dealer install item, does this mean I come away with two sets(RS wheels and 21" black)? I hope so, also would it be up to me to re-program the cpu for the new wheel size? Thanks.

The dealer will definitely handle the reprogram, and you should tell the dealer you want the old wheels. Otherwise you'll never see them again.

This has been discussed already, but for your information, you're paying over $4k for that set of wheels and tires, so yes, you get to keep the old 20's. In addition, the rim/tire combo doesn't change the overall outside diameter of the tire, so you don't have to reprogram the computer at all.

Chevyrocker is correct...Take off wheels are yours for the asking....If you do not ask they will keep....Dealer is paid to re-program your 21's...On another note : Tires are unidirectional.....When you pick up you Camaro check the Pirreli's to make sure they say "OUTSIDE".

Thanks, I will make sure they give me the original wheels, and have the direction right.

WHEEL UPGRADE RE-PROGRAM

20's require no re-program...Other wheels do...See attachement for breakdown..

But they do need to change your set up because the 21's with the lower profile will require a different PSI than the 20's and therefore require that the dealer updates your Driver Information Center via the tech 2 machine. And chances are there will be a small difference in diameter after the upgrade.

I guess. Does anyone know if there is a difference in recommended tire pressures between the 20's and the 21's?
