Did you get the LSX block and let IPS build it or did you get a pre-built short block from GM?
I'm sure you will/have to beef up that suspension. When it's done, you'll have a great toy. IPS does excellent work.

We ordered the pre-built short block with the rotating assembly installed.

The suspension work was done last year. I'm riding on Pfadt.

I think she's going to have more than a Super ZL1... more like a world beater with that engine and suspension setup!

your stealing my build, but thats ok, we can compare notes...have the 427lsx and lsx7 heads..with whipple and direct port nos setup...my build has started, but we started with interior as we are doing a full audio/video build 1st and installing a lcd with ps3 and just cut out all the kick panels and rear package tray,finished dynomat floor and tomorrow is roof...but we can share some build shots as we are a couple weeks behind you on the mechanicals...also have a jakes stage 4 4l80 with gforce rear....where just sick..lol.. gals to see another 427 lsx...

We ordered All Pro LS7 six bolt heads along with CTS-V Hydraulic lifters and a Hogan intake manifold today.

We were debating about putting the nitrous ports on the intake manifold, but the guys at IPS told me that I won't need nitrous to get over 1000 rwhp. Also, they said they can always weld the ports on for me if I decide I want to add nitrous at a later time.

No, I'm not (yet). I was just saying that the shop said if I ever decide to add nitrous, they can add the port to the intake manifold.

I have to hold back some funds to make sure I can do a cage and rear wheels/tires for track days.
