So, I just bought a new used set for amazing price. From a member here! anyway now TPS is out. Is this VXDAS EL-50448 ALL i NEED TO CORRECT. As I do plan on changinf sets every winter/summer

I bought mine for $14.00 on line. Tire shop should do it for free if they are wise.

Not all TPMS come programed to your vehicle. And there is a difference between programing and relearning. Get your TPMS from autozone but make sure you get the VDO sensors as they are preprogramed and you can do the relearn process once installed on the car. Dealer is ripping you off on both ends. The programing should be included in the price.

Get the correct oem or aftermarket sensors. With a 2011, you can still program with removing air as stated in your manual. Received rims with tires mounted and new sensors. No issue on relearn.

They lost out on a (~$1500) tire sale due to this greed.

I ended up saying screw it, and took my old wheels/tires/sensors to an independent shop and had them switch everything over to the new wheels last week.
Ordered that tool and the first three worked in seconds, the 4th tire wouldn't pair and I was afraid that something happened to the sensor during the swap.
I let out a few pounds of pressure and it paired the last one.

Done, and I will be going elsewhere when the time comes for new tires.
