yea guys, saw a bright purple metallic late 4th gen camaro 'vert today. theres only like 336 of these right? and an even lesser amount of the vert version, right?

yea me too. hes the only reason i know the number 336 (or very close) in reference to the BPM

Rarest color dependent on body style ('97 was the old body style, '98 the new). 883 made in '97 and 481 made in '98. Approximately 104 (or fewer) '98s in this color were Z28s, no SSes for either year.

OMG! NO WAY!!

There were actually 431 made (although I've seen 481 on occassion), but I think something like 50 were verts. 95 were Z28's, and of those 95, I THINK 14 were verts (which would mean 36 V6 verts).
My 336 number is what I believe to be the number of BPM V6's.

Yea I nearly shit when I saw it bcuz I know they are so low in numbers. It was out in open road too, no car show or anything

Take note- that'll probably be the only you ever see.

But yeah, that's probably where you'll only find them for another 15 or so years. Once they become collectible, you might see people repainting them in BPM.
I'd take mine to a car show, but most of the ones around here are usually for pre-'72 cars.

There's gonna be a F body gathering at summit racing that I plan to attend, maybe I'll see that camaro there, as it's 10 min away from my gf's house, and about the same distance from the spot I actually saw that camaro
