If the Camaro interior was all-that-and-a-bag-of-chips, then why are so many people (including quite a few owners on this very site) clamoring for an upgraded interior?

Quite honestly, with the 2010 and 2011 GT500's, you can hardly even hear the supercharger whine in stock form. That was not the case with the 2007-2009's, for sure.
I think the Camaro interior looks cooler than the GT, its obviously a subjective view point.

And I see I really dont know much about the GTs. But like the OP said that huge bang for your buck tune will take care of that.

To each his own, that is why styling is subjective. I won't repeat some subjective comments about the Camaro since they are just that, best to live and let live.

Yes and the last time I checked the speed limit was 55 so having more hp then a nicer looking car makes no sense.

that is your opinion. there are many people that feel the exact way you do, and many that do not. what i fail to understand is the fact that you dont get that people like different things. it should make perfect sense to you that someone could love a mustang (interior/exterior), just like it makes perfect sense to me that someone could love a camaro. i personally am much more drawn to the mustang styling, however, i get that others may like the camaros' styling over that of the mustang. also, i did state in my first post that this was what i wanted and to each their own.

i disagree. after owning both, the quality of the interior of the mustang is better. i also like the styling inside - i dont want that much out of a muscle car. in fact, the gt500 borders on almost being too refined - for me.

here's a thought (and something im not sure why you didnt consider), drag strip, racetrack, closed course, etc. as soon as the track opens - i will be there. i also will be taking the car out to blackhawk farms. they have skilled instructors and provide driving lessons for you particular vehicle - at various levels of skill. just sounds like fun to me. so thats why that horsepower matters. and..are you trying to convince me that the camaros look better? i already made my choice. maybe you are trying to convince yourself.
