It probably doesn't make you feel better but looks like there are a lot of other people wondering where thier cars are at this point. I say just hang in there, it will be worth it in the end!

Absolutely agree with you on that point Krazy... Our biggest problem was "knowing". I have not for one minute, even considered bailing on this car. Although if it weren't for my 69, I admit I probably would have thought about it a bit more seriously.

But for now, I will go about dealing with this obsession the best I can. It will get here when it gets here, unfortunately information seems to be my worst enemy at the moment.

Looking back on all this (seven months tomorrow), the last six weeks since it had been pulled was painful, but the last few weeks have truly been unbearable. I am trying everything I can think of to just wait, but I have never been a patient person. I think the best thing I can do at this point is just avoid this site and the temptation to check for information everyday. I will just let it come to me...

...if you don't hear from me for a few weeks, I have either not gotten it or... hung myself.

Evotion, we are here for you man! lol, it was nice sitting in one today, one of the salesman told me there is a retro setting on the radio, where it looks like the needle with numbers from left to right, just like the old radios, that's pretty cool.

Just got it today, wonder how long I'm gonna have to explain that to people.

Just got off the phone with GM CS. Looks like car was indeed built but is now in QC hell. Gave an estimate of 4 weeks, which was either 2 or 3 weeks ago depending on when it was built. Still can't get a damn VIN number.

At least I know a little more now.

My salesman called me today, my order gets put in to GM today!!!!, it should get built in the middle of June.

If you look at my sig I have been doing quite a bit of digging today (rainy day off), pressing them REAL hard for my VIN right now should be in first of the 8000's. Definately at 4B00 Bayed (quality control) right now. Hopefully I can get my VIN and figure out the rest later.

Well... I bribed Rachael with presents, but that didn't work. Still no VIN. Not sure if that is a inter-company policy or not. It appears that pretty much everyone in QC has got a VIN from their dealer, that part worries me a bit.

I'm now shooting for June 21st (Fathers Day), that would be a great gift.

, if I get mine before Transformers 2 comes out, Tower Theaters will let me park my Camaro out front openning night, maybe I will get in free

. I had them take off the engine cover, it was still on constrant, that would have held me up 4 weeks I guess, I told my salesman to make sure the RS package did not fall off after changing that, I told him to tell the inventory person, just so she knows for others. Also O'Reilly places their orders on Thursdays if that is usefull to anyone. I want to know how soon we can buy addon's fron the parts dept. Iam going to upgrade the exhuast and need to find a good place, I have used Discount Muffler off Ina for my 2004 Dodge Ram, sounds real nice. Next I am thinking of getting a K&N cold air intake (if they make them yet). And lastly I need the rubber trunk mat...
