Does anyone know what the sales tax is on a new car here? Is it 8.9%? Also, does anyone know what the best intrest rate the dealer has found lately?

Yeah I think the 8.9% is accurate... it is insane. Prolly gonna end up pushing me close to 40k.

On a side note I went down and stared, and sat in, and stared some more at the 1LT in the showroom. There was a steady flow of people in and out staring also. They have got 5 new orders in the last week or so and are telling people October at the soonest. As far as the sitting part... good thing I didn't go with the sunroof. With the seat all the way down I had about 1/2" of headroom (6'4"). Seats were very nice (240 lbs). The blind spots really aren't much worse than the Evo, and about the same as the 69, man how I have missed the hood view.

Rachael told me that now that she has a VIN she will be tracking the car for me as soon as it gets released from QC.

I hung out with Colby most of the time and chatted. He also told me your car was built, and that he had talked to you... remember it took over 2 weeks for them to get a VIN for mine. Try and be patient (unlike me). I told him I might be picking you up from the airport, he then told me he would also. Got to be honest though... I prolly won't be to happy about picking you up if yours comes in before mine.

Evotion, I am 6'4", and I did order the sunroof, I had alittle more than a inch above my head, my wife would kill me if I took it off the order, lol. I plan on going down there tomarrow with my boys so they can check it out too, also to see if they will fit in the back...Erasegod, when did your order get put in?

Watson Chevy just called me, they have a IO 2SS with strips to look at Saturday, I may have to check it out

Gonna have to be more specific.

I hope anyone that sits in the back is shorter than you, there was a guy that squeezed himself in the back (his girlfriend wanted to see if he would fit), bout my height... he fit but his neck was bent at a 90 degree angle.

Arrived there at 9:45 today. Guy said they did have one Camaro in the back they had cleaned and would bring it to the showroom in a few minutes. I went across to the Ford dealer and then over to Toyota and BMW. 10:45, back at Watson and no sight of a Camaro.......Thier website doesn't even list the car model at all.

I could find a Yeti easier.......

I just got back from Watson, I got there around (;45 also, must of just missed you. They had to clean it, so we waited, its Awesome!, it was IO 2SS/RS with every option 21" wheels, ground effects, no sun roof, $44,999 and its for sale. I sat in it the leather is better than the cloth I think. Its a automatic. I waited in the waiting room, talked to the owners of the 69 Camaro, and 02 Camaro, great people.
