Looks really good, I was concerned about how bright it looks in the pics, but pictures can be deceiving sometimes. You are convincing about it not being to bright. Like others you should throw together a package deal with and without the doors. Also just a thought could you put a override switch to shut them off if wanted to for those who don’t want it at night? just a thought.

It should as long as you put the painted inserts in.

As of right now I say no on the dimmer. I put a call in to their tech support today but waited to late and they were closed. Will try again tomorrow.

Very observant You can but barely. It doesn't bother me but you can trim it back a little to get rid of this. It is actually just plastic laminate easy to trim.

[QUOTE=ZNOLMT;1063334]WOW! This looks fantastic ! It reminds me of the ambient lighting in the concept!

Have you tried putting the light tape in the doors as well? Maybe it can look more fully illuminated like the concept was. I would LOVE to see that!

Thank You. Working on them Thurs. night.

Not sure I sanded mine because thats how the others did it. If it does work without sanding I'm sure it would look closer to the factory install in the doors. But I didn't try it first so I don't know.

The tape has 2 wires that come off of them. These hook up directly to the transformer. The transformer has only a positive and negative wire. Negative you just ground The positive goes to the output of the TR7. The TR7 has a Power, Ground, Trigger in, and Trigger out. Power goes to 12 volt source behind the gauges(red/black wire) Ground(just ground to metal), Trigger in goes to the purple wire on the dash abl plug behind the gauges, Trigger out goes to the transformer power wire.

I've missed you both times I've made it to SA. Don't know when I can make it back up there again. Everyone @ the Houlihans meeting seemed to like them. Hope to make up there soon.

Fantastic job Firewolff. I am an aspiring photographer and would be happy to take some shots for you if I were down Victoria way. If you get out to the LA area shoot me an email and I will take as many shots as you want. That goes for an Fbod or other Camaro owners. I am in Simi Valley, California. Thanks to all for the great networking and info. Orange Krate

I talked to light tape today and there is a dimming transformer I am waiting for the pricing and specs on how it works. More info coming soon. Also the color options will run around $30.00 more. It comes in the natural blue which matches the factory color perfect.
