Talking Forgestar F14 22x9 & 22x10.5 Photos on Camaro SS

My first set of 22-inch Forgestar F14 wheels arrived last week, and I finally had time to mount them on my Camaro. Sorry about the night photos, but I figured it was better than nothing. Pro photo shoot coming ASAP, as I provide marketing images for Forgestar.

I decided to give some other tires a try, Nitto 420S tires. These have a 400 treadwear rating, so they should last a long time. They are also on the tall end of the height spectrum, both front and rears are pushing 29" tall. It should result in a smoother ride, less risk from potholes. Best of all, the tires aren't that expensive.

Forgestar F14 Flow-Formed
Textured Black Finish
22x9.0 front with Nitto 420S 265/35-22 tire (64.5 lbs total)
22x10.5 rear with Nitto 420S 295/30-22 tire (65 lbs total)

22x9.0 wheel weighs 29.5 lbs
22x10.5 wheel weighs 30.0 lbs

Now for the photos

Tony

Dammit Tony......your killing me. Lol. I'm not getting mine until Friday.

They look damn sweet on your car!!!

Oh......and they are lighter than the factory wheels! Factory 20x8 Front = 31.5 lbs each. Factory 20x9 Rear = 33.0 lbs each

Sickness Tony. How much does a set of those with those tires set a normal person back?? Also, how long until these things are readily available? What finishes available?

Just a tiny bit heavier with tires added.

+3.8 lbs per front over stock wheels/tires
+1.0 lb per rear over stock wheels/tires

Not bad!

I can't wait to see them on your IOM car!

Tony

Ad thread here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125820

The wheels are available now, but in very limited quantities. Like maybe 2 sets possibly remaining. They are nearly out of the rear 22x10.5 cores, as not many showed up in the first batch.

Not bad! I'll see if I can weigh mine with the wider Pirelli's. Shouldn't be much of a difference either.

I am usually not a fan of 22" wheels for the Camaro but I must those look really good and the color fits the car perfectly. Great choice.
