I want to get a number 5 pool ball for mine, goes with the 5th gen and my white with orange strips and black with orange accents interior.

I make pool ball shifters for all my cars. I'm working on a stock design right now. I can make one for you after I figure it all out. It will most likely be a press on type like the stock.
Mine has the Hurst factory shifter. If they are the same, it shouldn't be too difficult.

I put the pistol grip knob in my wife's SS.

just got off of the horn with american shifter,and their tech said that their knobs won't work on the 2010 camaro with no threads ! all their stuff appears to be threaded.

That pistol grip is the excuss GM needed to deny me service on my 2nd gear chatter, which they claim the grip is amplifying the chatter into the cabin.
