No official announcements have been made, but somewhere between 26-33k seems to be the general consensus here on the boards.

Fbodfather stated earlier that numerous Camaros are being built (several hundred???? (guess)) early and given to VIP's to drive around and work out any bugs that may show up. Then they'll all provide GM with feedback so GM and fine tune their assembly process.

This is My Opinion and I'm sticking with it.

There's more info available than that.

The Indy site has recently been updated. GM will have three different presentations reviewing the Camaro on Saturday, Sept. 20...one of them will include our very own Fbodfather

http://www.indycamaro.com/Indy08/showindex.htm (EDIT: LINK DOESN'T WORK CORRECTLY- from the Indy site, go to 'Event Schedule", scroll sown to Saturday and click on GM Presentations link)

Five 5th Gen Camaros will be on display...in addition to Bumblebee**

http://www.indycamaro.com/Indy08/showindex.htm (EDIT: LINK DOESN'T WORK CORRECTLY- from the Indy site, go to "Track" and click on GM Cars on Display.)

**of course, they listed a disclaimer that the cars may change due to GM budget cuts...but, this is the official public unveiling of the new 2010 Camaro.

Not to mention a lot of us will meet there.

IMHO, it's a lot more than "JUST GO THERE"

when do you guys think chevy will add the camaro to their line up of cars on the website instead of being on upcoming vehicles? Also when will they let us build and price the car with all of our options? I'm sure their website is going to be flooded with customers the day they release this.
