Thudding on acceleration/bumps

Putting my thread over here in hopes I get a little more input. Replaced trans and motor mounts and still no dice.

Edit: new update

could be sway bar links going bad or the bushings?

Welcoming that idea. Any good way to test aside from tearing it apart?

Shift into first then into reverse, if you hear a thud each way the differential bolts are loose. Specifically on the passenger side as the oval bolt hole in the subframe is vertical on that side. You will also be able to see the right axle jump up or down from underneath it. As you lock down parts of the drivetrain you will start finding things loose, where the factory bushes were absorbing it, now that it is polly, solid, or whatever, it is transfering that torsion somewhere else.

I'm assuming that's just a quick re-torque and go? Or at least hopefully lol, maybe support the diff, take the bolt out and loctite it

Also note the thumping is coming from the front and only over bumps and moderate accel

If youre hearing thuds over bumps in the front id bet the stock upper strut mounts have seen better days. Being a 2010 did you reuse the stock strut mounts when you replaced the struts or did you upgrade to some FE4 strut mounts?

Over time the strut mounts can develop some play and i know the early FE3 cars TONS of people complained about thuds over bumps and that was the case!

It is a retorque, but I added Delrin bushings while I was there. It's an easy check, sounds tend to sound like they are coming from one place when they are really somewhere else. I'm on eibach R2 coilovers with the original upper mounts, using Spohn endlinks with Eibach sway bar. I had a factory end link go bad and it actually didn't make any noise, I noticed it replacing pads.

Reused stock ones. Are these easy to replace?

Also, no thudding when shifting 1st or reverse or back and forth, that's a plus

I have had the suspension out a million times trying different spring lengths and rates, so if you have compressors I'm going to say taking the front apart and replacing the mounts is easy. Having coilovers does make it easier though as you can release all the tension without the compressors. Still a easy shade tree job either way.

So a spring compressor and then happy days? Pretty sure advance auto rents one out, I'll check. Any how-to or other advice?

Question, has the car ever been aligned? I suggest finding a shop that will work with you...have them diag what needs replacing...then do the work yourself(if you wrench) and take it back after to be aligned....chances are ANYTHING we do on the suspension will possibly require an alignment....and since tires ain't cheap! Plus the alignment made a nice improvement in handling...
