Corey sent me a picture of the installed fuel pump. He said since I'll never see it again once the fuel tank is in the car, he thought he would send this...

Later today, he is going to send me some pics of the front bumper modified for getting more air into the intercooler... Not the bumper cover, but the metal bumper itself...

AN and braided stainless... that's like Victoria's Secret for men

...Ok, not really, but it's still

Are you going to get any dyno time in?

Oh yeah... Boost controller, wet shot of nitrous, and the new fuel system... yup, there will be some dyno time...

Corey ordered a handhelp tuner and we will have at least three tunes in it...

"stock" or as it is right now...
Boosted with the boost controller...
and On kill, with the boost controller operating and the nitrous/racefuel spraying...

We have a progressive controller for the nitrous, so we can set when and where and how hard it hits or how much hit there is...

I have relatively new back tires... and may need some more after this series of dyno runs is completed... That knurls on the dyno are going to give the rear tires a major workout... and we will be using 4 straps on the back of the car.... and maybe my fat self standing on the straps with steel reinforced shin guards..

Intercooler access...

So, Corey was noting the 188 degree IA'T's during our last track session, and made up his mind he was going to do something with the front bumper to improve air flow to and across the intercooler...

Here are the pics of the work.

Corey and Co. cut the bottom half of the backside out, and then boxed it in, and added sheet metal to contour it directing air up, and added a deflector to help push air into the intercooler.

These are viewed from the bottom...

The bottom of the bumper used to cover the upper 2/3rds of the cooling air entry area into the intercooler... As you can see now, the entire face of the intercooler is exposed

Nicely done. Are you using anything special in the radiator / cooling system?

My intercooler is strictly air to air...if that makes a difference..

Suggestions... water wetter???

This is a new one on me... so, I'm all ears...

Oh, as an aside, are you aware that when copying and printing out your 5th Gen Book, not including the video's, it is 110 printed pages long... I wanted to read it and felt time away from my office and shop would be great time for reading... Jeeze, what a lot of information...

Yup... I printed it out so I could read it at my leisure... Damn, thats a lot of information... I rekunize most of the words... and know what most of them mean until you assimilate them into a sentence speaking of suspension... then all bets are out the window... I am so going to fail this test...
