Mine is lowered too, and if i drive in to my driveway too fast bolts will scrape the ground. No big issue, i will find some recessed bolts too. I will let ips know about the bolts too. As long as you don't try to run over speed bumps 80 miles per hour you are fine.

Lol, it will be back there this fall for a new engine install and some other goodies. Goal is to add about 400RWHP to it.

So the lowest part of this kit is about 3 1/2" - 4 1/2" lower than the sub frame? EEEK! well there goes this idea for my car. My car's sub frame is only about 3 1/4" off the ground.

No, it is not that low. When i get back home from my trip, i will take the exact measurement from lowest part (skid plate bolts) to the ground.
Mine is lowered about 1 1/2 to 2 inches. Only place i managed to scrape the ground so far is my own driveway. Our driveways are screwed, my neighbors 2009 z-06 is having hard time with stock suspension, he scrapes ground all the time. My son's SS Cobalt scrapes the front lip with stock suspension.
Not saying there is not kits that gives you better clearance (Granatelli perhaps) but ips set up is not an issue for me.

Yeah, that seems really low. Do me a solid and measure from the ground to your subframe also.

I don't know mine has hit quite a few times in big driveways going slow. it always hits the bolts. But I think the soft stock suspension has alot to do with it. I think the front is sagging a bit under the weight of the kit, I can have a pic posted up this weekend if you like....but seeing as how you have the kit you probably dont need it lol.

Shoot me a picture, so we can compare. our kits supposed to come from same jig, but some real world comparision is always helpful. PM me, and i will give you my e-mail.
