The Camaro won't be quite as bad at release since there will be more of them offered. But in that first month or two with people wanting to be the first in their area to have one

I'm sure we're going to see some markups that high when the Camaro comes out. I don't think it will be as bad, since the Challenger will already be out and the Camaro will not have a limited initial release, but I'm sure someone will try to gouge the price that much.

Well the first year will bring money in the future if its preserved.. they will be limited in quantity and plated (the 08 models will get a number plate in the dash).. that being said a lot of the dodge guys are pissed because basically yes it will be released.. but not really to the general public.. so in reality the challenger really isn't coming out till 2009.

Double posting!!!

Update - Some orders have gone through for the people who put down deposits to get in line.. and unbelievably some dealers are actually sticking to their MSRP ONLY guarantee. So it is possible if you have a good dealer!

Oh and only options for the 09 model are Performance tires, Power sunroof, and the Mygig entertainment/nav system.
