Headers or Cat back?

Hey guys and gals. My car is due in this Wednesday and I'm not sure which route to go on exhaust. Should I go with long tubes and stock cat back or aftermarket cat back and stock manifolds? What kind of dyno numbers is everyone getting? Which headers and cat back systems are getting the best results? Thanks for all your help. In the past I've had to spend twice the money trying different things before finding the right combo with the best power. I'd like to avoid that this time around.

Longtube headers and a x pipe with stock mufflers is going to give you a bigger hp gain over just a catback. Sounds wise, its pry better just go fo with an axle back system or a x/axle back combo. Why not get the full exhaust though?

Little bits at the time. With the economy as slow as it is, I have to pace myself on this build.

I think you should use Long-tubes, and factory exhaust, or even an axle-back...but for sure the Long-Tubes will get the best results...

If you want to order something, or just have questions, feel free to get in touch.

Any input on which headers are the best? It's hard to tell by looking at what the manufacturer shows. I'd rather hear what people are actually getting on the dyno.

I have installed afew, and currently use the ARH kit. I love them. There are some choices out there...But I stick with what I know works. I use and recommend the ARH system.

If you are interested in getting a set let me know. I will hook you up on the whole system

No, I've run them on several of my cars in the past. As long as the O2 sensors are there, I'm in good shape. I wasn't wanting to drop all that cash at once for a full LT setup and cat back, but it looks like that's going to be my best option.

What if you plan to do this in steps ??...

should you do the LT's first and then do the catback? or vise versa?
