Why are there no recent threads about Torqstorm Superchargers?

I went through the first 11 Pages of this Subtopic and there are no questions or comments about Torqstorm Superchargers? They have a Lifetime Warranty, support up to 600-700 HP with a Single Supercharger and are the cheapest ones available. I am considering purchasing one soon. I cannot afford a 5-7K one. An Intercooled Supercharger Kit starts at 3450. I just want a fast Street Car and would be happy with those numbers. Is there something I am missing?

I was considering the torquestorm about a month ago. Luckily I was able to get my hands on a new ECS Novi 1500 for just over 4k. You get what you pay for.

•Limited lifetime warranty**
•The intercooler and piping is extra and it’s typically a universal kit. That means it needs to be hacked up to make it fit.
•From what I read when I was considering this, there’s barely any options for different pulley sizes. Also the max boost was around 6-8lbs. Fine for some, but most of the people here they want more boooooooost.

because they suck, if this is the same kraftworks supercharger rebranded using the rotrex head units i wouldnt bother with it. The very few people who make it on the forums with these rotrex kits are horror stories. You have any issues with the kit and you need to ship back and forth overseas to POTENTIALLY get work covered. The last few build threads regarding the matter ended up in legal litigation with both the seller and supercharger company.

It's not, they are based on the Powerdyne superchargers.

Powerdyne superchargers, a quick google search yields: Out of business, Lousy ceramic bearings, not holding together anywhere near 9 psi. That is why we do not hear about it. apparently there is a rubber belt inside those units that fail and turn into sand.

Steer clear OP, save cash for good stuff.

The company that eventually became torqstorm was tasked with fixing the problems with the powerdyne system.
When they got done re engineering the system so it was reliable powerdyne failed to pay them and went out of business.
So here they were after doing all this work to fix the problems with nothing to show for it.
So they created torqstorm.
