Hawaii ZL-1
I just received an email from JN Chevrolet here on Oahu. They say they have received a ZL1 and I should come in and check it out. I will go there and look for the sake of looking but a 1LE is in my future (not prepared to make ZL1 sized payments). I can't wait to hear what kind of markup they want. They wanted full MSRP for a 2SS/45th ann so I'm sure it will be good. Pics and info to follow later.

Sitting on the lot with the spacers still in the springs... SMH! Supposedly hasn't been through pdi yet. No price listed but even the dealer said it will most likely carry a hefty mark up.

Just spoke with the dealership. JN is kown to be a greedy dealership to say the least. The salesman tried to get me to come in and talk numbers but the asking price is MSRP of $57k plus.... are you ready for this.... $15k!!! They want a negotiable of course, $15k markup. They are nuts!

Ask for Roy in the fleet department. He might help on the pricing. If he still works there.
Or if you can find one here on the mainland for MSRP and just pay the shipping ($1200) to da the islands. You would save a lot. JN and especially Cutter get high mark up. Or do what i did when i was still there, bought from Oregon, no tax and back den was $975 to ship to Honolulu. Good luck.

I will be buying a 1LE. I just wanted to see one and figured I would ask since I was there. I will most likely order next week. If the dealers will act right. No markup for me. Preferred pricing or I will have one shipped. PERIOD! I would rather pay a shipper over a greedy dealer.
