There are two different cars on the track, plate numbers:

051-360 0:46 mark

They both look the same to me though.

The front splitter looks like the one in the Camaro Customizer...the winglets at the ends are not high enough to produce much down-force for a Z/28, so I feel it's definitely not the Z/28. ZL1 maybe.

That's what I have been saying. This car doesn't not have all the aero bits that would be found on a Z28. Unless there testing the car without the optional Z/28 "track pack" aero package.

For the 50th anniversary ZL1 what about a supercharged LS7? I'd be standing in line to buy that!!!

GM already said they tried something similar for the Z06 and couldn't meet emissions. It's possible they figured something else out but the LS7 in itself is indeed dead.

LS series is supposedly dead.. Maybe it's just a 1LE.. Would be surprised if they altered fascia for it though.

High power N/A motors are tough to make compliant with upcoming emissions. Ford said it was tough getting the 5.2 Voodoo to pass, and typically small cube DOHC motors are easier to squeeze by with.

They wouldnt offer a whole new facia for a 1LE
This would have to be a Z28 or a ZL1
In which im assuming it would be a Z28
Last night I agreed with the idea that maybe they were making oner performance model that absorbed the other so Z28 absorbing ZL1 or vice versa but then looking back at 5th gen history and the competition, I feel that they would make two different models

I dont hear a supercharger wine, if I heard the wine I wouldve assed this to be a ZL1 due to the body style changes.

Why does everyone hope its super charged? I thought we wanted a more powerful NA engine to fight the gt350/r? Let's hope they surprise us! We know an lt4 powered Camaro is inevitable.

GM said that they listened to the customers/disciples and brought forward changes because of this input so the question is did the 1LE guys push for a more distinct stand alone model and not just a ordering code package with no labeling like the 5th gen had.

This is evident in how many guys with 1LE cars installed badges reflecting what they had and not just a regular SS. Plus if you go back and look in the past which car is everyone putting hash marks on including GM with its cryptic hash marks on this prototype.

2013 1LE Pre-Production Prototype and 2017 test mule.
