URGENT: MUST have both airlines hooked up to both cats??

Need the answer BEFORE TOMORROW!

Last day I had brand new High-Flow cats (2) hooked up to my car (5.7l v8 350). They only hooked up 1 airtube to one cat because the other airtube was broken off from the car and they claim the second airtube was not needed (trying to pass aircare).

I have read in multiple places that without the second airtube hooked up that I would likely fail aircare (emissions here in BC) because that cat is not burning the excess fuel like it should.

Is this true?

For the cats to run at their intended efficiency, they need extra oxygen to burn off the fuel. If Im not mistaken the older cars came with one-way cats, which required the use of aux air to help them run. The newer 3 way cats usually dont need this additional air, but it wouldnt hurt performance to have them both hooked up, and not knowing which cats you have doesnt help. Im not familiar with Canadian emissions, but do they allow you a pretest?
