ASAP! How did you M6 Owners refill the Tranny fluid?

Just put the car up to do the tranny fluid swap, and saw the fill hole is in a tight spot. I know the RP bottle is not going to fit the tip into that hold and still be able to turn upside down to fill

Looking for some clever tips ASAP

Buy a siphon pump! They work great! I bought a small pump that fits inside the oil bottle, screws on, then just put the tube inside the tranny and pump her in It's made exactly for that purpose.

And she was up on ramps, no lift. I als used RP - Kragen, O'Riely's or any auto parts store should have one...

Good luck!

EDIT: as a side note, when I did mine, I didn't have the oil pump, but what I did have was my brake siphon pump! Not the best, but it did get me through until I bought the correct one!

A funnell and about 4 feet of rubber tubing. You can pour 4 quarts of fluid in there standing up next to the drivers side from the engine compartment. SUPER EASY!

Get the Mobil 1 Synthertic ATF Multi Vehicle Formula (Dexron 3) Your synchros will thank you for it.

I remeber I was in a hurry one day and couldn't find my bottle pump. So i ran the hose into the trans and using a basketball needle adapter on my blow gun I pierced the bottom of the bottle and held it upside down. Done it this way several times since because its the fastest way I have found. Redneck efficiency!

I have a can similar to a weed sprayer that you pump up and pull the trigger

You can just barely taste the fluid if you guzzle the beer fast enough.
