is it shiney yet, I'm starting to get feeling back into my hand...lol.
It was in pretty bad shape, I told him before I started I had seen Lawn mowers look cleaner than this thing. After the second coat of zaino, it started coming around pretty good. Hank (the Human Buffer) |

UPS update, my package was never actually in Indy as shown on their tracker. UPS accidently put it on a truck in Chicago to go to Seattle, Washington. It is on its way back here now. It won't make it in time for the show.
I asked and since it is on the road now, they can't pull it off and overnight it to me. :(

That's just messed up, and I'm sorry to hear you wont have it for the show. At least now you know why it was taking so long though.

We're getting there... still need one more bottle of fluid...
LS3 folks: After 17,000 miles in 18 months my brake fluid was BLACK and GROSS. I will take a comparison picture soon of what came out and what new looks like. I suggest if you have an LS3 and are nearing the 20K mark to check it and maybe do a full system flush. It took me 4 bottles of fluid. I used WilWood 570* fluid from MTI. |

Www.brakeperformance.com $350 shipped for all 4. The wearing surface will wear off and be silver ONLY where the pad touches. The dimples and slots stay black along with everything else. Looks really good and you never have to deal with rusty, ugly rotors! For those who don't want black, they also have silver! Would have taken less than a week to get here but snow storm slowed them down a few days. |

Jack up car. 1.Remove wheel. 2.Remove two 18mm bolts holding the caliper on. They are located on the back of the caliper. DO NOT REMOVE BRAKE LINE. Just move the caliper out of the way. 3.Remove the set screw holding the rotor on. 4.Remove rotor. REVERSE FOR INSTALL *If the caliper doesn't slide right over new rotor, you have to squeeze the pads away from eachother to compress to pistons. *Clean rotor with brake cleaner prior to installing wheel. REPEAT 3 MORE TIME. Lower car. ENJOY! |
