We were just anxious to fire up the motor. So it was on open headers. The completed vehicle will have a full exhaust system and it will sound very nice but not too loud.

That ****er is too damn loud. The ZR-1 does not even sound that loud. The power should be decent though.

It sounded absolutely amazing. It must be a blast to drive such a car.
Wasn't there a story on the front page a while back saying how some GM engineer put an LSA (I think it was the LSA) into a Camaro, too? What is the performance difference between the two? |

And, a six-figure bottom line.
I ask you, although the LS9 in a Camaro is WICKED, are you ready to ponder the 10K-12K price point difference between this car and a legit ZR1 Corvette? Can you spend $105,000 on a Camaro? That is one TOUGH call, my friends. For real. And a legit buzz kill. :( Sigh. Hopefully I wont join the "Banned Camp" for this realization. For the price-point, I'd rather have a stock ZR1. The "real" Camaro Z should have an LS7 with N/A horsepower. Some tuners have raised the bar with about 700-800 NA HP. THAT is the "real" Z28 in my book. And,it would cost about $30K-$40K less than an LS9. And, it would have about 100 HP more at the crank. AND better 1/4 mile times due to the insane amount of torque. With all that said, that LS9 sounds.... SICK!! Great job, Hennessy!!! <cheers!!> <flame ON>
