Likely more like TF3. The "cover" or vinyl patch is only about a foot on the front of the hood, not along the full length of the hood.

Because Chevy didn't build the Transformers car. There were plenty of things on other transformers cars that were not included on any production Camaros. GM may have thrown them a few hints each time of things to incorporate by showing some pre prototype sketches but the movie car designers always put their spin on them.

I hope those aren't the real headlights.

Seriously though, how can people say if this is the 6th gen, they're out. You can't even see what it looks like.

All I'm saying is I bet it looks like the transformers 4 movie car.

The Transformers 4 car is literally just a 5th gen with a weird body kit slapped on.

So far the 6th gen shows zero indication of being that besides the fact that GM engineers had fun with the camo to make it look like a 5th gen.

I think GM might be looking at the reaction to the T4 transformers movie for opinions on that car. I personally think we are going to see a lot of that car in the 6th gen

The 200 pounds should be there, though, simply by making the car smaller which from everything we are hearing is the case.

And I think replacing the hood, roof and decklid with CF wouldn't save the 200 pounds you are looking for. Probably closer to 100 pounds.
probably less

to chevy, making an affordable car that people will actually buy rather than a fast car that people will look at and think is cool is more important

There is a strand / paste form of CF that has shown promise for substantial cost reduction - forged composite. http://www.quantumcomposites.com/pdf...ed-suspens.pdf

definitely smaller and the doors look much shorter. looks similar in the front to the 10-13 Camaros. also looks like the side mirrors are round. im excited to see it when they reveal it! oh the days are counting down....

You do know the styling of the car has been locked down fora while now, right. If these pics are of the Gen6 then getting any opinions on T4 would have needed the movie out about a year ago.

And the movie shoot was over a year ago so not sure there is a connection possible.
