What made you Start Parking Far away
When I first got my camaro I would go to out I would park close until one day I went to the mall and came out, to see that my baby had been hit on the front left side not that big but did take some paint off, since then I aways park far.
What's your story, Post picture if posible |

Always have and always will. Gotta keep it away from the idiots. I make sure to park far enough away that everyone else will say f$&@ walking that far, then I know I am safe
I have done this for every car and truck I have owned except my work trucks. Good luck denting those, you will fold your door befor putting a ding in my door

It was a common sense thing. After a poor childhood came the day that I purchased a vehicle straight enough to give a rat's ass about. I instantly knew no one else would be considerate enough to care about my lack of door dings.
I wanted every dent to be my fault...different learning curve there.

You asked for a story, but here's a novel...
Always have always will too. People just care less about others property. Can't afford to have someone else f$$$ my stuff up. I may park by others only once in a while. I parked at Walmart, lord forgive me, in the front. It was one of those angled spots next to a planter. There was about 3 ft to my right of orange space, where it is striped. So I pull my right wheels past the line and onto the orange area giving me enough room to dodge the fools from dinging my drivers side. I walk to the front door of the store to turn around and see a basket behind my car. Using the remote to honk the horn rapidly as I locked the doors I thought I would get the attention of the bast@$* that left the basket, I proceed to walk back to the car and move it since the lowlife basket attendant literally ignored it while making his rounds literally past my car. Then as I get back from out of the store this POS beat up Taurus wagon was literally 3 inches from my bumper. So what did I do... Got out a pen and paper and pinned a note using their wiper. It read as follows, "A few more inches and you would be paying $2,000 for my new bumper. Just a note for you and any unlucky sob that you park near. You should feel lucky you don't have to pawn off your shit to pay for a freaking bumper belonging to someone else which you crushed." Next time it's 50 degrees and pouring rain I AM WALKING!!!!! Just because you can't afford or don't have the same caliper of property as someone else; don't destroy others property.

Always. And will continue to park, one people are generally lazy to walk that far.
Though I still have been dinged twice.

I've never had an incident but generally when someone is willing to block traffic for 6 minutes waiting on someone to back out of a spot close to the store so they can park there and not have to walk 4 extra steps.....I would rather not be anywhere near that lazy ass hat.

People especially in cities don't care. I always see people that are parallel parked with bumpers touching each other. Last week I watched a dude pull up in a truck right behind a car and he kept pulling forward until he hit the car as if on purpose then backed up a few inches. Idk why because that was the last parking spot on the road before intersection so it doesn't require parallel parking just straight pulling in. Here is an example in Philadelphia.

People, as time goes on I have lost confidence in the human race, I know it's a sad statement to make but the human race is on a course of self destruction. We are in a current state of its all about me! We need to change this mindset and soon or their will be no turning back.

one general rule is park far away as you can then walk-you need it.sometimes I would park near a car with a sun shade in the front glass-their are usually employes of some store and are not leaving soon.
