So what happens now is i get tons ( and i mean a lot) of white smoke out the exhaust. I pull over and let run for 10-15 and its slows down and it stops and all is good. This happen two times already couple weeks apart. just strange. one thing i did do each time was reset the computer right after it happen. First time i thought it was that. because it stopped 10 mins after i did it.

I checked all the sparks last week they look normal and OK no oil or anything strange. I checked compression and they all looked ok.
by the way not easy to check this with downpipes and stuff. pain in the ass. need to remove downpipes on each side to get to #7 and #8 :-(

I am doing a leak down test now. #1 and #3 are OK will check others soon. Oil and water look ok and normal levels.

dont know if its Oil, water or tune issue. but i guess i need to complete the leak down on the rest to be 100%

Sorry coming in late to this discussion but no one has addressed your leak down pic.

If you are getting 30% leak down with only 10 psi being blown in a cylinder you have major ring issues.

We typically do leak down tests at 100 psi anything over 10% leakdown is a concern

TT issue, White smoke

I don’t know every tester I looked at shows that that’s fine and in the green. I can’t see how every cylinder has ring issue. But at least they wear it out evenly. But then is the first time I’ve done it and I don’t even think I did it right. But I was just looking to see if I can find one that stood out. Was also a cheep tester lol

Yes it’s 7 years old SBE but is running great so far.

But thanks for the info and I’ll keep it in mind. Maybe one day I’ll work on the SBE

So far the turbos oil drain was the issue I had with all the smoke.

It again thanks for review and feedback. Once I get the turbos stable I will look into this. I Appreciate it

I am happy to hear you got your smoke issues resolved.

Don't trust the gauge green window it's about the same as the green window for front end alignments

Anything over 10% is a concern.

Our motors leak at 4%-8%

I think the tester I have is not that good and I didn’t set it correctly. You can’t even put more pressure in it. Lol

But I didn’t want to Change it 1/2 testing them all.

I might go back and test one again to see if I can get a better info.

But hey the eng is 7 years old so anything is possible
