aluminum wheels are fugly

there has to be a better choice for my 35,000 car than wheels that look so lame. Steel wheels and chrome rock the hotrod universe and they always will.
Is there a solution?

I mean, I'm kinda fond of the stock RS / SS wheels and I only don't like them because of weight. I definitely wouldn't go for steel or chrome, personally.

That said. There is a dedicated wheels and tires subforum further down the main camaro5 forum page. I'm positive people have similar tastes to your own.

My frustration is evident. Ive looked everywhere. Give me the weight. Ill add power. This is a generational issue and deserves its own thread.

I like the OEM SS/RS wheels but didn't care for the clear over the polished aluminum because it created a haze that was difficult to buff out. I decided to strip the clear and then polish and buff the wheels. I think they look great.

Polished is great. Cragar stopped with the modern muscle polished. They went to aluminum with chrome. I dont like aluminum anything with chrome. Looks like tin foil. Wait a second....are you saying those are stock and you changed them? Your wheels are awesome. i think my stock wheels are painted grey or maybe not.

On aluminum. It never lived. Have the manufacturer's decided we get what we get and the nearest sub is overpriced polished or machined wheels?
