Finally...........................DIY on Flux Capacitor Install
No, not really. I'm just kidding. The title is in reference to a comment on another thread. However, I do have some news, exciting news at that.
A couple of weeks ago I posted a thread about my displeasure with my L99, and my consideration of a trade in for an LS3. Well, originally I couldn't really swing it as I would take a decent loss, and seeing as how I'm still in college, that wouldn't have been a pretty situation. However, thanks to a certain family member, the wheels have been set in motion. My uncle agreed to this and it looks like the next two weeks are going to be very exciting. In this time I'll be shopping around, and I'll hopefully be able to get an order in before the end of November. Also, Summit White is gorgeous, but I think it's time for a change. Courtesy of the beautiful pictures I've seen from a member on here, Mindz, I've made up my mind for a move to IBM. Bye, Bye, Team L99. Hello Team LS3!!!!! Thanks to all of you that wished me luck and prayed for me. lol Danny. |

I was extremely bored in that car. After driving my friend's Porsche 944, I couldn't stop thinking about getting a stick. I was hooked. There really is no greater driving experience than to be able to row your own gears, and not to mention that incredibly rewarding sound of a perfectly timed rev match. Ugh, I love it.
Secondly, another great reason for the switch is that I hated that AFM. Yea I know you can tune it out, but then you're still stuck with those crappy stock lifters that are bound to go bad. But most of all, manual is SO MUCH DAMN FUN! |

I would love manual if i had a second camaro that was only for dragging or auto-crossing because traffic is not all that fun to sit in with a manual car

Yea, I know but this car is going to be used for exactly that, track work. Plus now I don't have to spend money on an LS3 conversion.

Great call on the IBM. My fav color too. But your right SW looks amazing on this car. My first and second camaros were both autos, and i agree that they get boring.

Yea, even though I live in NYC, I was going crazy for a manual, and still am. Once I drove my friend's 944 in stick, I was hooked!
