Shout out to Carlyle Racing, I purchased a pair of Viking rear double adjustable drag shocks for ol' Heavy Chevy.

I already had Carlyle's 15" wheel conversion kit, so when I heard about these shocks I had to have them. The top mounts like stock, and the bottom uses a set of collars that you can adjust with a spanner wrench. The shocks come with setting suggestions in the box for the street and for the strip.

I've been driving around on them for a week, and I can tell they are making a difference. Right now I have the compression at 3 and rebound at 5. I might try more rebound just to see how it differs. I'll keep you all posted, I'll hit the track pretty soon!

I like...

I'm beefing up other aspects of the car this year to hold up... Just installed a set of DSS axles, buddy hooked me up, and I have a Circle D SFI flexplate that needs to go in too.

I'm going to post a bunch of detail pics of my rear suspension real soon.

I've read that they don't work with stock lower control arms, but 15" setup so I can share that I have enough room to adjust the shocks.
