I doubt I'll get any track time before since our tracks here won't open till March. I plan on having the cooler installed by then. Intercooler is around 2100 I believe

I thing you will be quite a bit happier with the way it runs intercooled. Especially come summer time

Well I just got confirmation that my Intercooler will be shipped out soon. I'm going to be trying a couple different pulleys. I have a 95 mm that will go on first before we get back to the dyno in a couple weeks. I also have a 90 that I may try when I'm at the dyno. I have a 105 on my non intercooled setup and it made 6.4 lbs of boost with very low timing. I'm working with Mike on the tunes so it should be pretty stellar setup. Can't wait for March to get here for our first time out.

I just received the intercooler and will start on the install Friday morning. Should take about 3 hours or so. Some were concerned about the weight on the front end. I just weighed the intercooler with all part included and its adding 19 lbs total plus some coolant. So that's a total of about 72 lbs with the supercharger. I weighed all the parts I took off and added back in the Maggie plus intercooler/parts. So, to gain around a 140 hp or more I think the additional weight is worth it.

Sorry brother, just saw this. Good work. I leave the hood open and cover the RF with a piece of ply wood that was cut and fits well. We haven't seen any gains with it covered or uncovered personally. But your IAT's will skyrocket if the fan is pointed the wrong way. I have seen the IAT go from 70* to 105* during one run. It didn't effect power in the end but it is not good. The simple plywood cover helps consistency. Let us know how the intercooler works out.

Hey, 100 will be great compared to my 141 with no intercooler as it was on the first dyno pulls. I'm gonna pull in 6th gear which we have never done so I think we will see 540 or so with the pulley change and new tune.

6th will give you the real numbers of what the car makes. 5th is what most use as I do on certain dyno's. As long as the testing is consistent it should yield consistent gains.

The other benefit to using 6th on the dyno is that it hardly ever gets hit under power except on the dyno so it is a clean trans gear. I abuse the crap out of 1-5 on the reg.

I am planning to pull mine in 6th, hopefully on Friday when we drop in a new tune. Last pull was 5th so we will compare.

LT4 non intercooled

The numbers are fantastic for such a simple kit.

We may yank the Intercooler bricks from an LT4 and run it just like Magnuson is doing,2-3 degrees timing is generally 45-50 rwhp either way so money wise its not such a bad loss.

Good Job

Andy
Did you ever try the LT4 non intercooled with less boost?
