No. They can’t cut out gasoline. Until they make airplanes run on Battery. You’re not sending a rocket to the moon on battery. You’re not making anything on the planet much less batteries for EV without crude oil. Gasoline will definitely be toned down? But it won’t go extinct in our lifetime. Probably not our kids lifetime either. However this who EV crap is a waste. I think the end result will be hydrogen fuel cell. That’s where it’s at.

Original Owner, ordered the car in 1977, one of 384 rare SE birds with the 400 Pontiac engine, 4sp trans, and Hardtop which makes it rare.
(When I was at the dealer, the "T" Top Cars were all leaking cause it was raining). So I went Hard Top.
And a "few" mods under the hood, cause my 2010 Whipple Blown Camaro makes more HP on 3 cylinders than the stock T/A Motor at 220 HP back then

Someone mentioned Teslas in this thread. I had no idea they could blow away the fastest camaros. Camaros are going to be the slowest cars on the road soon, just about every electric car is going to blow our doors off. lol

GM sucks. The cars are ugly and the dealers are horrible. I’ll probably go back to German cars as I can’t stomach another POS plastic dodge. Everyone we’ve had has had issues. Honestly our best car has been our Ford Flex. We have 9 and I like driving the Ford the best, especially long distance. The Camaro is my sunny day plaything.

The Flex was built in Oakville Ontario just up the road from me.

I didn’t want to like it being a Ford, but I can’t hate it. It’s also a beast in the snow. Like seriously better than my Explorer take home car at the time or my CR-V. It’s wide, heavy, and low. Unstoppable. I was passing everything trying to get up a snow covered hill. Ford killed it though. :(

I just don’t understand what’s going on at GM. The Silverado is not good looking and 3rd in sales of the big 3. Same with the Camaro. The rear of the C8 Corvette is hideous as well.

Not my rule; Jeremy Clarkson told me on Top Gear right before he said Camaro drivers are murderers.

Point being: Camaros, even 6th gens, are a lot more muscle car than they are sports car. They just happen to go around a corner and brake with a little help.
