I was looking at 2LS cars vs 1LT.

I went 1LT.

I normally don't like power seats, but the ratcheting up and down mechanism on the LS cars seemed cheesy to me. I liked the power seats on BOTH sides in the 1LT more. The 1LT has a deeper rear end gear. Little more performance. If I was going to buy a V6 car I wanted the most out of it from the factory. The MPG loss is negligible. Wheels...the steel wheels are atrocious. The 1LT stock wheels though look fine and will likely stay on my car for a long time. They are also lighter (performance). The 1LT car is also advertised to have 'sport' suspension whereas the LS says nothing at all. The 1LT did seem to ride firmer than the LS. (yet again, performance). I also liked the factory fog lights a lot. The price difference was worth I drive a 1LT!

Why I went 2ls: Its a $1800 when you add auto. Its cool that you get more options with the 1lt, but I wanted to keep it cheap. Don't like the rims on either and I plan on changing mine soon so it wouldn't make much of a difference.

I went 1LS. Because I know how to drive a stick. 80% (or more) of an SS at 60% of the price (your calculations may vary).
