Bowling Green
Michigan Phoenix Englishtown Indy Las Vegas Daytona Atlanta w/ Road Atlanta All would be incredible Fests... as long as the Southern ones are Spring or Fall. The heat is what kills attendance. Maybe throw a one month poll out there. At the end, the winner gets investigated for a possible fest. If a no go, go down the list 2, 3...until one has all the pieces falling in place. |

BG was my first fest and it was wonderful. Lots of places to go eat. Nashville was close, and the corvette museum and plant was very nice! I did not go on the road course but heard good things about it. I wish I had taken another few days off work to go to the mammoth caves. There's no denieing it's a great location for car people like us. If fest was back at BG it wouldn't hurt my feelings. If fest is someplace else, that's cool. Just make sure it is at an ideal location with plenty of hotel rooms, drag strip, road course, and restaurants.

Booooosted.

Me and Bonnie used to live less than a mile from there. Alas, this just wouldn't bring the attendance to pay the bills.

I drove to Chandler for fest II, that was a 1500 mile drive one way. I drove to Oshawa Ontario Canada, that was 1400 mile. I did my first road course at Firebird International Raceway Fest II, now I'm hooked, I did NOLA which is a fast track and NCM which is a Fast and Technical track also. I bought the car with an auto for drag racing, but that's not what the car is used for now, it's a road course setup car, So yes a road course is mandatory for the fest now. Drag strip and autocross are just not the same, so distance is not a concern I love driving the car and being to new places, Bowling Green is great and I would go back, but Chandler was great too, So I would go back there.

Pueblo Colorado.
http://www.pueblomotorsportspark.net/ All driving events supported. Out west. It's Colorado. Lots of places for scenic drives. Might be a long haul for east coasters but it would get the west coast folks a chance at least.

I personally think it needs to come out West... The last few Fests have been 24+ Hours each way for us.. We'll be out there for LS Fest next month though so we'll see how the facilities are at that event.

Oh come on, don't you remember all the people who said Indy was the best Fest ever and doing it twice in a row was a fantastic idea? I mean sure they were the ones conveniently located around Indiana but that's a moot point, Indy 2016!!

We still owe it to the West to give it a shot and negotiate with some tracks out there. BG sort of re-kindled that spark that's been missing since Indy #1 that's all. |

Mike on a serious note will next years fest be announced around the same time it was last year (December)? I don't want to hear the trademarked answer lol
