In the ATS video at 1:37, is that the 2012 Regal GS Turbo?

Chevrolet's super cryptic Facebook status.

As a matter of fact I was thinking the other day that this thread should be relocated back to the Z28 section, your thoughts?

And for the other poster NO we don't want a stripped down race car, just a great mountain pass or canyon carver.

The Z/28 community is starting to feel like the redhead stepchild of the group.

How and we have a 5th gen Camaro and no Z/28?

Wait...could it be that when the Z/28 is announced the world will end? If the timing of when new Camaros stays the same it will be around Dec 2012!!!!!

So you are saying, "just a major improvement in handling over an SS?"

Yes, a super time vortex will form and take us all back to 1969 where there WAS a Z/28 and nobody bitched about it being too heavy. LOL

Not just.
If I was a Ford Guy (I'm not) the Boss would be all I want. I like the "model"
so much I've even tried to convince myself to buy the Boss. However I am a GM guy and I really love the complete design of the Camaro. It just needs some refinement (a Z28). I always wanted a 69 Z28 RS, but don't care for the ride in comparison to today's technology. The new Camaro fits the bill for me. I just want the track model, the Z28. And no I don't expect it to weigh hundreds of pounds less. I know it can be tamed with the right suspension changes. But also add a bump in HP, electric power steering, 6 pot front brakes, forged wheels, and whatever else you'd like to add.

p.s. I do like and respect the ZL1, but just like the Corvette it's not for me. I'm not looking for a "Monster" (or the Monster $$$$) I'm looking for finesse.
