Thanks guys. Yeah, I would only put them on my car to drive to the track. I wouldn't be using them any other time. I think I'll be fine as long as I take it easy to and from the track.

To drive to the track and back you will be fine. I have a 45 min drive to my local track and have no worries as long as its dry. By the way, I trap around 132-136 and have had no issues.

If you have never driven on skinnies, there are differences. You can't take corners and curves the same, the car can just push through the corner if you are going too fast. I think that is called oversteer. Less contact patch.

I like how skinnies feel for the most part. I've had my 215's up front in my 17x7s and I drive the car like stock. I've thought about selling mine and going 17x4.5 and those M/T skinnies we'll see. I'll only do them if I can DD on them. I will ask Jason at M/T and see what he says.

Exactly what I was hoping to hear. These are the tires that I will be getting. Thanks!

That's when a pillow and blanket in the trunk come in handy. 1.5 pounds wouldn't affect a thing on your passes. They DO make it halfway comfortable if ya gotta sleep in the car.
