Don't give up on the LLT. I know that sounds hypocritical coming from me, but think about this. We can tune the LFX, but what did we end up doing? When we ran out of fuel we added the supplemental fuel system. The tune is the same when we use the supplemental fuel as well as when we run just on the HPFP at lower boost. So, if you can get a good tune using the HPFP, then you can use a setup like mine to get more boost.
Here's how today went. We started out at 50% duty cycle on the turbos and just the HPFP. We kept upping the boost until we ran out of fuel that way, then we turned on the supplemental fuel and added boost until we got the AFR back to a good level. When we first turned it on at 60% duty cycle the AFR was 10.0. At 70% duty cycle it was 11.5 (still a little rich, but making good power). We made NO changes to the tune at all, just upped the boost. I don't see why you can't do that with the LLT, too.

Well see what the winter brings as I am not able to build any more just yet. But Santa may bring a lfx for me to start over and a nicely mod used llt to my son.

Bravo, my man. Bra-freaking-vo!
I hope the drive train survives long enough for you to enjoy all that power/torque!

This car makes silly power. There was a pull that saw 800+torque when the snails lit off. Crazy. I still think a bigger AR would rock...but alas, u would have 4wd camaro....or Fred flintstone floor.

I would like to see you give up on the quarter mile (for the cars sake) and run a standing mile somewhere with this thing.

Mile would be at least 10 times harder on the car than the 1/4th...it simply wouldn't last at these power levels.

Yeah, it would be nice to see how far I can push it, but I just can't see cutting into the floor pan for a bigger a/r.

Any expectations on what you'll run the 1/4 in? Not sure what other C5ers with similar power are running but I would guess you could get 11.5s (or better?) if she sticks

This car would fit in with the SS, FI, stock displacement fast list. It's just nuts.

Here again, I'm glad I'm far, far away in AZ. I fear the Growl...and I'm not worthy!
Excellent, excellent results. Very happy for you. John B. |

I can't make out the rpm numbers on the graph. At what rpm did they start at. Or what are the graph incroments
I see a low 10's pass on the horizon. I figured a standing mile would be easier on trans and crank only because you wouldn't be trying to launch so hard. |
