Camaro 6 running with a 5th gen v8.

Thing is besides dig racing the 5th gen is just faster at any speed vs the V6. Torque does matter. I kno rolls aren't popular here but they really get pulled hard up top. People really sleep on 5th gens for some reason? I understand they can be a bitch to launch but we more than hold our own in reality.

Doesnt that have more to do with mechanical grip and suspension than anything else? How would it do against an SS 1LE 5th? The 5th gen Z/28 was out pacing the 6th gen ZL1 until the rain started with less hp. V6 1LE also outran an S550 GT on a road course. Which one is faster in real life tho?

Guys you're getting this Twisted nobody's saying that the 6th gen V6 is faster then a 5th gen SS.

all that was said is that it's half a second slower 0 to 60 then V Gen SS and that is 100% true.

Heck with some of the stick shift V6 cars with the 1LE package you're getting 4.9 seconds.

I watched that video neither were stock but it was completely unfair. The kids should not have been talking s***.

But I got to say it almost seems staged when you re-watch it just lethal looking for some more hits.

He can come and say it's not call me out on it whatever he wants to do but that's what it looks like.

Stock for stock it would be a fun race . The 5th gen would win but I think everyone would be impressed by the 6th gen V6 for how good of a run it will give it.

It's knocked up over a second 0 to 60 between gens that's quite the Improvement

Anyways like I said before all your cars are awesome you guys are just twisting this in to something and never was

Thats the point. You have to go by real world i stances. I lost to a Hell Cat by 1.5 cars or so. According to mag times he should beat me by 10 lengths. And because the l99 is an auto....joe average wont row the gears quicker then tbe car can shift.

With everything being legit: Stock LS3 vs. Stock L99, identical driver skill levels in each car, identical lane conditions, etc., etc., the LS3 wins 9.9 times out of 10.

What you're saying is that you can always hope for an inexperienced driver in the LS3, the LS3 having a catastrophic failure, an uncalibrated time clock, etc.. This way, when the L99 wins, you can say it's faster in the 1/4 than an LS3.

lol no. I would never test drive a 4 cylinder camaro. It was a v6. It does pull up top but not as much at the V8.

It definitely doesn't pull as much as your LS3 it pulls more like an LS1 so like the V8 just a slightly older V8.
