Just got My SS! So... what first?
Hey everyone -
I just upgraded to a 2010 SS/2SS from my LS. So new in fact I haven't even updated my profile or picture. I am curious what to do first for the most "bang for the buck" on this LS3? Wrong place for cosmetic, but I will focus some on that, but performance/priority wise wise what should I do first? 1. CAI - does scoop and relocation kit help/matter? 2. Headers 3. Cam 4. Catch can 5. something else?

I'd start with a CAI, then maybe an exhaust to make it at least sound like a V8 should

Cold air intake and definitely get an exhaust as said above. The trash can mufflers on these cars just kill the V8 rumble. Might as well do headers while you are doing the exhaust..

Get a CAI and then do headers.

1st, get a catch can.
2nd CAI The reason I say catch can first is you will not believe how much blow by you are going to get on a new engine. Catch most that stuff ASAP. Over time as the car breaks in usually oil in the catch can will steady out. |

Mods
I went with SLP Loudmouth II axle back as my first mod and Cold air inductions CAI as my second, my modding list is much longer now but I would do the same parts if I had to do it again. Great sound!!
