After spending about 10 mil on my monk and spending 4 hours to beat the fart guy in act III it just stopped being fun.

I'm sure that I will play again, but a group of RL friends just got into wow with the intent of some legitimate PVP. Gladiator gear is stupidly easy to get now. (the lower teir epics are anyway) and I've found that playing an Unholy DK is a straight up blast right now.

Did a 3v3 match last night with two friends (both sub rogues) Not the most ideal comp. but ended up facing War/Mage/Hunter. They stomped us 3 times in a row. Finally, we got a good strategy against them, my two rogue friends both died just as I killed the mage, they had the hunter to 30% the warrior was full health. I finished off the hunter, I had about 20% hp left. Used my pet and chains to kite the warrior long enough to get enough RP to sac my ghoul, refill to full health, and own the warrior.

I know a few of you played wow, nothing beats taking on two people at once and coming out on top.

If anyone's interested I'm on Sargeras, a few of you have my realID hit me up! I could use a solid healer, or a lock/mage. Or just a camaro friend who wants to pvp

Step 1: Select Teleport - Fracture. Bind it to a key
Step 2: Select Archon, tested with Improved Archon
Step 3: Hover your mouse over or near your charcter
Step 4: Press Teleport
Step 5: QUICKLY(!) Press Archon

They're hotfixing it now or soon. Using it is a bannable offense, too.

Wow, so much is changing in 1.0.4! All the class changes, Legendary items revamped, and now the AH updates detailed and the new Paragon system adding 100 more progression levels to increase your base magic find to 300% at cap, as well as other stats. They're saying this level progression will take about the same effort required to advance all the way to 99 in Diablo 2. I'm excited that they're giving us something else to progress at max level. The 300% cap for MF and GF sucks but at lease we'll be able to focus on straight up damage gear at Paragon cap.

Patch may be tomorrow, if not it'll be next week.

Yay. Something to get me excited in game again. I can't get past Act II inferno. I just don't do the damage I need. I can survive for almost ever face tanking, but with only 12k dps...

You need my DH 105k dmg lets do it you tank i do the DPS homie

That's how my wife and I downed Diablo on Inferno. She had her monk tanking and I did pretty much all the damage. She has about 950 AR, 1200 LoH, and 13k dps on her monk where I have 200 AR, 1100 LoH and 147k dps on my demon hunter. Since we cleared it a few weeks ago, I focused on getting high magic find and decent dps. Currently at 260 MF with 106k damage. We do treasure goblin act II runs mostly, so far I've made about 50m from stuff I've looted. One was a set piece I sold for 35m.

According to this data-mined info, it's going to take 10 billion experience to get to Paragon level 100! That's almost a year of 5m exp per hour for 6 hours a day!

Yes and no. The actual level cap is still 60. Once you get to 60, you start gaining experience towards the new "Paragon Levels". There are 100 of them, each one increases your base stats similar to levels 1-60, and you gain 3% GF/MF base per level. So by level 100, you'll have the GF/MF cap of 300% (before Nephalem Valor) and have no need for GF/MF gear. These new levels don't award any new skills though, just stats and GF/MF. And nifty borders around your character portrait.

All the XP after the update correct not the XP you have gained before correct.

they should have included that xp into the lvling process... Turbine did this when they increased the lvl cap of 126 to 265 on Asheron's Call
